Harness
is a tight fit with the ball and is made of thin, soft webbing
or plastic insulation tape (3 to 5 times around the ball).

| Overhead
cable |
|
|
|
|
The
cable overhead, to which the bungee is attached can be rope,
wire or monofillament. It needs to span the playing area,
and should be lined up with the centreline of the ring. |

| Ring
dimensions |
|

|
The
HitBall ring, unlike a boxing ring, is round. 3m radius,
divided by a 30cm centeline. The ball is suspended from
the cable at 3m height and clears the ground when hanging
by 20cm.
The area does not have to be perfectly sized to make
for a great game, or completely open. Trees, walls and
even uneven footing present interesting strategic possibilities.
