Sport science getting involved.

The Hitball Organisation makes some startling claims about the benefits of the game:

1) That it is a highly effective way to improve generalised coordination.

2) That it exercises the body more effectively than "regular" exercise on account of the body's response to a "fight" situation.

3) That it enables all-round muscle tone and condition.

4) That it exercises the brain and neurals intensively, improving reaction and response times.

Some sports scientists say they'll get involved and test these claims - We'll tell more as it happens. Watch this space...

And - hey, if you're a phys-ed major, how about getting into some Hitball research for your thesis?
